Strategic Priorities

Infrastructure is one key element of Buffalo State’s 2009-2013 Strategic Plan. To promote student success, Buffalo State must prioritize the creation of physical spaces that support academic and social activity. Buffalo State is engaged in an impressive roster of capital projects that will result in nearly $350 million of new structures and improvements to campus by 2015. These projects will create state-of-the-art facilities for students, faculty, and staff while enhancing the beauty of campus.

Major Campus Construction Projects

Rockwell Hall—Renovation to provide new spaces for the Music and Art Conservation departments.

Science and Mathematics Complex—Modern research and teaching facilities for the Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences and Science Education, and Physics departments and the Great Lakes Center.

Technology Building—Accommodating seven technology-based programs, smart classrooms, and labs.

Student Support

Buffalo State offers a wide array of financial aid and scholarship opportunities. Three out of four students receive some form of financial aid, whether it's an award based on achievement or need; a special scholarship for their major; or one of the numerous scholarships, grants, and loan programs that are available. In the 2009-2010 academic year alone, more than $1.1 million was provided in student support. Your gift ensures that more hardworking and talented students are able to access Buffalo State's singular learning environment.
