A college education can change someone’s life—just ask the single mom from Eggertsville who finished her degree while working two jobs and is now a manager at a bank, or the first-generation college student from Riverside who went on to open his own business. Buffalo State has helped generation after generation of alumni attain goals they never thought were possible.
 
But we didn’t do it by ourselves. Individuals, businesses, and foundations help fund scholarships, contribute to capital campaigns, give back to the college through the faculty/staff appeal, and donate faithfully every year through the Annual Fund.

And now, we need you more than ever. State funding to public universities in New York has dropped by more than 60 percent in the past 15 years. That means Buffalo State relies more heavily on private funding.
